Instructions:

For the dough, beat the slightly cooled butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until the fat and sugar become white foamy.

Gradually add eggs, salt and flavoring (fold in each egg for about 2 minutes!). Fold in the flour sifted with starch and baking powder by tablespoonfuls.

Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan (30 x 110 mm) lined with baking paper and bake the cake at 180 °C (preheated) for 60-70 minutes. Allow to cool completely.

For the icing, stir the sifted powdered sugar with the hot water until smooth. Stir in the warm coconut oil and coat the cake with it.

Preparation Tip:

The cake can be finished with any glaze. Try, for example, punch icing or chocolate icing!
