For the rose punch, first warm the wine a little. Pour it over the rose petals until they are covered. Leave to infuse for at least 2 hours. If there is any wine left over, chill it.
To serve, add the sparkling wine and any remaining wine to the rose punch. Sugar the rose punch if necessary.
