Instructions:

For the pork skewers, cut the meat into cubes and place in a bowl. Add curry, coriander, turmeric, cayenne pepper and salt and mix with the meat. Add peanut oil and water and mix everything well. Close the bowl and let it marinate for 2 hours. For the peanut sauce, knead the shredded coconut in a bowl with the water and let it stand for 5 minutes. Then drain the whole over a bowl through a sieve. Set aside the “coconut milk” thus obtained. Coarsely chop the peanuts. Bring 1/4 l of the coconut milk to a boil on the stove over medium heat and mix with the spices (turmeric, curry, cayenne pepper and sugar).

Reduce heat and add the peanuts and continue to cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Season with lemon juice and salt and let cool. Skewer the meat on wooden skewers and grill on the barbecue for about 5 minutes on each side. Serve the pork skewers together with the peanut sauce.

Preparation Tip:

Serve with the pork skewers rice and a soybean salad.
